Te Tuhi engages skilled tutors who are practicing artists and experts in their field to teach children's classes. We have a range of classes to encourage and stimulate children from the age of 5yrs.

Working in a professional studio situation and in a safe environment, the children are given individual support and feedback, recognising their unique skills and differences. We limit the number of students per tutor to ensure the quality of our classes, so it is essential to book in advance.

My Dream World with Anju Desai

Do your dreams have fairies, stars, butterflies or birds, animals, jungles or an underwater world?  We will create your dream artwork using various mediums, learning key techniques.  This 9 week course will fire our imagination.

The Building Blocks of the Creative Process:

Class for 7-10 year olds with Elizabeth Alvarez

Join us as we explore the elements of art using drawing and painting.  Students artwork is assembled in a portfolio that is brought home at the end of the term.  In addition to learning about a variety of art materials, students experience how different artists work and create. This class is tutored in a supportive, fun and social environment.  All abilities welcome.
