Creating the Portrait with Nicole Peacock
Classically trained artist Nicole Peacock offers an 8 week course for students eager to explore painting(oil, acrylic, watercolour or pastel) or drawing the portrait. Using a combination of photo reference (students own or tutor provided) and a live model, Nicole will introduce students to the structure of the head, facial features, as well as offering tips and methods for correct lighting, shading and colour choices. Nicole will also be covering the methods that simplify the challenge of capturing a likeness. All abilities are welcome, as the class is structured to give one on one instruction to each student. Come and learn about your chosen medium and how to create timeless and expressive portraiture, step by step. A materials list will be provided on enrolment. 8 week course: Friday 1.00 to 3.30pm starting 22nd October| $200
Nicole offers two independent classes. Students are welcome to enrol in both classes for a fee of $380
