Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts is a unique arts & cultural centre boasting great facilities just 15 minutes from Aucklands CBD. Our diverse range of rooms and spaces can host from 10 - 200 guests with helpful staff available throughout your stay. Our onsite 'Metro' award winning cafe is open Monday - Saturday and can cater on request for large or small functions.
Te Tuhi has many multi-purpose rooms for hire by community groups and commercial hirers. We welcome both long term and casual hirers.

Room Details

Auditorium
A large (80 metre), octagonal, air conditioned room with wooden sprung floor ideal for concerts, birthdays, weddings, meetings and seminars. Will comfortably seat up to 200 as an audience or 140 seated at tables.

Social Room
Large (14 x 9.7 metres) carpeted, air conditioned room suitable for meetings, seminars and smaller social events. Seats up to 100 as an audience or 80 seated at tables.

Kitchen
Our kitchen is available for use by all user groups. It contains two ovens, two fridges, two servery's, a crockery sterilizer, teapots and a microwave oven. It may be necessary to share the kitchen with others at the time of your hire.

The Meeting Room
A board room style space with air-conditioning, a whiteboard, external entrance to car park, cafe on site. Comfortably seats up to 20.

Studio's 4 & 5
Classroom style set-up, with whiteboard and projector screen, full blackout.
Comfortably seats:
Studio 4 up to 30
Studio 5 up to 40
Note: A sound proof wall divides these studio's, this can be removed to create one large room.
